Custom Collections

These are custom galleries - collections of individual’s favorite images.  I’ll create a custom gallery for anybody upon request.  Details and instructions are provided below the list of galleries if you’re interested in having a custom collection created for you.

Some day, I plan to implement a “Your Favorites” feature, which will allow you to collect your favorite images in a personal gallery, making them much easier to find at a later time for review, prioritizing for purchases, etc., as you view each event’s pics throughout the school year(s).  Until I get a chance to write all of the associated web code and implement necessary features, such as log-on accounts, I will be happy to manually build collections for you. To have a collection built, you order the images you are interested in via the standard shopping cart, selecting “No Payment Due” in the last step. Detailed instructions are shown below.

  • View any event pics, adding those of interest to the shopping cart, just as if you were purchasing them
    • select any print size - this won’t matter since you’re not really ordering prints
  • When you’re done browsing events, go through the check-out process
  • In Checkout Step #1, where you enter your name and contact information, you’ll see a text box via which you can provide general instructions.  In this box, let me know that you want to have a custom gallery created from the order you’re placing.
  • In the next checkout step, select “No Balance Due” as the payment option
    • Make sure you click on this button - this is the step at which I’m sent a copy of your order.  If you don’t perform this step, I won’t see your order and you’ll have to start over, finding each of the photos of interest a second time, and adding them to the shopping cart.
  • It would be a good idea to send me a follow-up email just to make sure I see your order.
  • Once you’ve placed your order for a custom collection, I will build the gallery, add the link to this page, and then send you an email to let you know that it’s online and ready.
  • You can add more pics to a custom collection at any time - just repeat the above steps, and in the instructions, let me know whether you want the new order to be added to an existing collection or to a new collection - your choice !!
