2008-May-10: 5th Annual Wade Pittsford Golf Tournament

All photos were taken at hole 3 (... I think it was hole 3 .. a par-3 hole on the opposite side
of the highway from the club house ..).  Group numbers refer to the groups as I shot them at
hole 3.    "1" was the first group, "2", the second group, etc.  To redeem the free photo offer
extended to all golfers, please refer to the instructions below the table of groups/photo-links.

All participants in the golf tournament get one free photo as follows:

1 free hi-res digital image file per golfer
(no purchase necessary)

Place an order online (you'll find the shopping cart below each image on the website) and
go through the check-out process.  At the end, select "No Balance Due".  You must do
this final checkout step for the order to be submitted to me (otherwise, I won't see it).
Once I see the order, I'll place the file on my server and email you a link which
you can download the image file.  You can then take the image file to your
favorite printing place to make prints (I'm using CostCo these days)

or

1 free print (4x6 or 5x7 or hi-res file) if you order additional prints
(requires purchase of additional prints)

To get an actual print, you must order additional prints (any size/quantity) at regular prices.
I'll include the free print with the rest of the print order when I mail it to you.  Place the
two orders separately - the first one for the prints you would like to purchase and
the second one for the free one, selecting "No Balance Due" in the checkout step.

Had some help from my daughter, Kayla.  I needed to
cover some half-time activity over at Burger, so I left
about 1/2 way through the 2cd Qtr, and returned just
after the start of the 4th Qtr.  Kayla provided pics while
I was away from the Bowie-Westlake game.

Third game with the new camera - still traveling up the learning curve.  I
need to work on my exposure mode settings a bit ... still got a few good
pics. And, whenever a special guest like Michael Griffin shows up, I manage
to get a few special pictures too - look for him throughout the whole game
and in the locker room at half time.

2007-Sep-26: Baily vs. Clint Small Middle School

You've heard the story of the broken camera.  Here's the story of the new camera!
It arrived via UPS, Wednesday afternoon.  Wednesday evening, after work, I charged
the battery and went looking for something to shoot.  I found a Middle School game
at Burger - Baily vs. Clint Small.  So, these are the first shots from the new toy.  I've
taken the full-pro-model plunge - lots more buttons and knobs to set wrong and mess
things up.  This was my first practice run - despite everything, I still got a few good pics.

2007-Sep-19, 20, and 21: Bowie vs. Vista Ridge

Shot 4 of the 5 games.  My camera died with about 1 minute left in the Sophomore/JV2
game.  So, I missed the JV/JV1 game that started right after it up at Vista Ridge.

2007-Sep-14: Bowie vs. McNeil Varsity

Lady Luck ... she can be a bit tough on folks at times ...  Regardless of the
of the outcome, you guys gave everybody in that stadium, on both sides, ten
times their money's worth ... an incredible game.  I'm not sure I could have
survived much more of the excitement and stress that the first 3 or 4 minutes
of the game brought.  Several times, I found myself mesmerized by the game,
standing and watching, instead of taking pictures.  Regardless of the outcome,
it was one heck of a game.  I'd have to compare it to the Bowie-Judson game
several years ago, when Bowie made it to the playoff's, and the first game was
against Judson, who eventually won State that year.  I think we lost it in the
second (or was it the third) overtime ... like this game - one heck of a show !!!
